Getting Around The Local Area By Bike

Depending on how confident and fit a cyclist you are, there are a range of destinations that can be accessed by bike from Tithe Gardens.

Poulton-le-Fylde town centre can be reached in less than 4 minutes, where you’ll find a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants situated in and around the Teanlowe Shopping Centre. A journey to Blackpool takes around 20 minutes, and when you consider traffic and the time it takes to park, that is probably quicker than a journey by car!

Tithe Gardens is situated a short distance away from National Cycle Network (NCN) route 62. NCN Route 62 is deemed a ‘green corridor’, with the route following the coast on traffic free paths! You’ll find the starting point along the Queens Promenade, head south and you’ll reach Blackpool in 15 minutes. Or, why not head North and ride along the Lancashire Coastal Way to reach Fleetwood in less than 15 minutes, and see some of the most stunning coastline the North West has to offer!
